Review Removal by Platform

We file documented policy disputes on nine platforms. Google is the primary service and the fastest. Each page below covers that platform's own content rules, the evidence that carries a case there, and how long it usually takes.

What does an online reputation cleanup service do?

Most of the damage sits in a handful of reviews and posts that break the platform's own rules. DeleteGoogleReviews.com finds those, documents the breach, and files removals across Google, Yelp, Trustpilot, BBB, Glassdoor, Avvo, Reddit, Airbnb and ComplaintsBoard. Truthful reviews are out of scope and stay up.

Pick the platform

Every platform publishes its own content rules. A removal succeeds when the filing names the rule the review breaks and attaches the evidence a human reviewer needs.

Google review removal

The core service. Google publishes the policy categories a review has to breach before it comes down: fake engagement, conflict of interest, off-topic content, harassment and hate speech, mistaken identity, and restricted or illegal content. We choose the category, document it, and file. Most removals complete in 1 to 3 business days, and complex cases can take up to 7.

Glassdoor review removal

Employer reviews from people who never worked at the company, reviews that name individuals, and coordinated posting after a layoff. Glassdoor runs its own community guidelines and its own review queue, so cases here move slower than Google.

Yelp review removal

Yelp filters aggressively and rarely explains itself. Removal turns on documenting a specific content guideline breach: no first-hand experience, conflict of interest, or content that is not about the business.

Avvo review removal

Attorney reviews from opposing parties, from people who were declined as clients, and from anyone with a conflict of interest. Avvo's guidelines require a genuine client relationship, which is often the fastest thing to disprove.

Reddit post and comment removal

Reddit has two routes: subreddit moderators and Reddit's own content policy team. Doxxing, harassment, and coordinated brigading are the grounds that carry. Cases here typically run 2 to 10 business days.

Airbnb review removal

Host-side removals for retaliatory reviews after a damage claim, reviews describing a different listing, and content that breaches Airbnb's content policy. Typically 2 to 8 business days.

ComplaintsBoard removal

Complaints posted anonymously, often with no verifiable transaction behind them, and often outranking the business's own site. Removal runs through the platform's own channels and typically takes 2 to 8 business days.

Trustpilot review removal

Trustpilot requires a genuine buying or service experience and prohibits reviews with a conflict of interest. Flagging works when the report names the guideline and shows why the experience did not happen.

What we do not do

The limits are the same on all nine platforms.

We do not pursue truthful reviews

An honest negative opinion is compliant content everywhere. If that is what you have, we say so at the evaluation and decline the case. What to do instead is covered on our process page.

We do not mass-flag or use bots

Every filing goes through the platform's own reporting channel with documented evidence attached. Mass-flagging is what gets profiles penalised. See why us.

We do not generate or gate reviews

We never write reviews, never buy them, and never build funnels that filter unhappy customers out of the review request. The FTC rule on fake reviews exists for a reason.

Platform questions

Google, Glassdoor, Yelp, Avvo, Reddit, Airbnb, ComplaintsBoard, Trustpilot, and BBB. Google is the largest share of the work because it is the one that drives local search and the one AI assistants read most often when summarising a business.
The principle is. Every platform publishes content rules, and a removal succeeds when the filing names the rule the review breaks and attaches the evidence. What differs is the reporting channel, the appeal route, and how long the platform takes. Google is the fastest of the nine.
Most Google removals complete in 1 to 3 business days, and complex cases can take up to 7. Airbnb and ComplaintsBoard typically run 2 to 8 business days, Reddit 2 to 10, and BBB 3 to 10. Glassdoor and Trustpilot are the slowest because their internal queues are.
No. A truthful negative review is compliant content on every one of these platforms and it stays up. We only file where a review breaches a published policy, which is also why we decline cases at the evaluation stage.
Every case starts with a free evaluation. We quote per review before any work begins, and you pay only after a review is confirmed removed. If it stays up, you owe nothing for it. The full terms are on the guarantee page.
A cleanup is not a rewrite of what people think of you. It is the removal of the entries that should never have been published under the platform's own rules, so what remains is an accurate picture. DeleteGoogleReviews.com audits every platform where you appear, files documented disputes on the entries with policy grounds, and leaves truthful criticism alone.
